The Approved Code of Practice and Guidance L8, “Legionnaires’ Disease – The Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems” (paragraph 51) requires staff involved in Legionella control to undergo training and regular refresher training.
So we have developed a course to meet the requirements as set out by the Health & Safety Executive. The awareness training runs in the morning for 3 hours and covers everything that you will need to know.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Everyone involved in any aspect of Legionella Control. A Legionella Awareness training certificate will be issued following the completion of the training for your records to show compliance with ACoP(L8) requirements.
A bacon sandwich and tea/coffee is included on arrival, then a mid-morning break with tea, coffee and biscuits. Vegetarian options available, please state on the booking form if required.
