We currently have a full time vacancy for a Water Hygiene Engineer, required to service existing customer buildings in the South West of England.
The role will include visiting customer sites to implement Legionella control programmes, including general water monitoring checks, sampling, cleaning and disinfection works.
Past experience in the industry is essential and a knowledge of Legionella Risk Assessments would be advantageous.
Reporting to our Area Manager; the competences, key skills, knowledge and experience required include:
1. Co-operation, Support and Team Working
Takes responsibility for the service work and carries out the tasks on customer premises, with regards to water testing and Legionella control, plant inspections, cleaning & disinfection, valve servicing and compilation of records and findings.
2. Committed to Customers, Working in Partnership
Ensures that customer service levels to agreed standards are consistently delivered. Identifies any remedial works required and recommends and implements changes to ensure compliance.
3. Self Management
Demonstrates a proactive approach to managing the workload and solving problems to make sure customer’s legal requirements are met.
4. Achieve results
Ensures assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner to the required standard.
